The series centers around Monkey D. Luffy, a young fellow made of elastic, who, enlivened by his experience growing up icon, the strong privateer Red-Haired Shanks, sets off on an excursion from the East Blue Sea to track down the legendary fortune, the One Piece, and declare himself the King of the Pirates. With an end goal to coordinate his own team, the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy protects and gets to know a privateer tracker and fighter named Roronoa Zoro, and they head off looking for the nominal fortune. They are participated in their excursion by Nami, a cash-fixated cheat, and guide; Usopp, a marksman, and an impulsive liar; and Sanji, a debased however gallant cook. They procure a boat, the Going Merry, and participate in conflicts with famous privateers of the East Blue. As Luffy and his team set out on their undertakings, others join the group later in the series, including Tony Chopper, a humanized reindeer specialist; Nico Robin, a prehistorian and previous Baroque Works professional killer; Franky, a cyborg shipwright; Brook, a skeleton performer and fighter; and Jimbei, a fish-man helmsman and previous individual from the Seven Warlords of the Sea. When the Going Merry is harmed and destroyed, Franky constructs the Straw Hat Pirates another boat, the Thousand Sunny, Together, they experience different privateers, abundance trackers, criminal associations, progressives, spies, and fighters of the bad World Government, and different companions and adversaries, as they sail the oceans in the quest for their fantasies.
